Sgt. Jesus Fernandez, a forward observer assigned to 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, walks along a trail during the land navigation portion of the Division Best Fire Support Team competition, Nov. 14. This contest was part of the Division’s week-long Best of the Best competition, which tested forward observers and artillerymen in their respective areas of expertise. The annual event gives the Paratroopers an opportunity to showcase their skills, builds their confidence in their teammates and gives the winners bragging rights for the next year.
