The Hon. Ravi Chaudhary, assistant secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations and Environment, receives a brief from U.S. Air Force Col. David Wilson, the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, during a visit at JBER, Alaska, June 7, 2023. In his position, Chaudhary is responsible for the formulation, review and execution of plans, policies, programs, and budgets to meet Air Force energy, installations, environment, safety, and occupational health objectives. During his visit, he visited the runway extension construction site, received a quality-of-life tour, a walkthrough of dorms and had a meeting with housing personnel.
