PACIFIC OCEAN (June 2, 2023) – U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Christopher Alexander, commander, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9, speaks during the CSG-9 change of command ceremony in the forecastle aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), June 2, 2023. CSG-9 is currently underway with it's flagship, Theodore Roosevelt, and it's air wing, Carrier Air Wing 11, in support of Tailored Ship's Training Availability, an evolution that prepares a ship for full integration into a carrier strike group through a wide range of mission-critical operations.
