SAINT INIGOES, Maryland (May 16, 2023) - Naval District Washington Fire Department firefighters attached to NAS Patuxent River and NAS Pax River Search and Rescue “SAR Dogs” crew prepare to evacuate simulated casualties during an aircraft mishap drill at Pax River’s Webster Outlying Field May 16. The drill utilized a Mobile Aircraft Firefighting Trainer to simulate a burning aircraft, and incorporated other emergency responders from the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and Maryland State Police to replicate a realistic response to such an emergency.
