U.S. sailors from Guided Missile Frigate USS Reuben James (FFG 57) and Royal Brunei Armed Forces shared some friendly competition during a sports day event. Both countries competed in soccer, softball, football, volleyball and tug-o-war. Sports day came after the closing ceremony of the 18th annual Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training exercise between the U.S. Navy and Royal Brunei Armed Forces. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Timor Leste.
