A nighttime outdoor altar (ofrenda) is displayed within a bamboo/reed fence enclosure, featuring a portrait of a mustachioed man alongside a Mexican flag, flowers, fruit offerings, and candles on a red rug. A woman with dark hair and a tote bag stands in the foreground viewing the display. The scene is consistent with a Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) commemoration held in a public outdoor space.

A woman observes one of the altars set up at Lincoln Park during the annual Dia de los Muertos celebration Nov. 4, 2012. Decorated altars were set up with lights, traditional skulls, food offerings, and framed photographs in memory of loved ones. The El Paso community was also presented with a new mural by artist Gabriel S. Gaytan and at dusk, dancers dressed in traditional Aztec garb performed a traditional Danza Azteca.
