A U.S. Army paratrooper assigned to the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, “Arctic Angels,” places the name tape of a fallen paratrooper at Malemute Drop Zone, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 24, 2023, in honor of Spartan Memorial Week. Paratroopers carried the nametapes of 77 fallen paratroopers who made the ultimate sacrifice during deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
