Craig McLemore (left), Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network (IANTN) Secretary, pins Mr. Lowell McClintock, as he assumes the duties of Director of International Engagements for the IANTN Secretariat at the U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet (USNAVSOUTH/FOURTHFLT) compound on Naval Station Mayport, Fla., May 19, 2023. Mcclintock is the first person to assume the title of Director of International Engagements at IANTN since its inception in 1962. IANTN’s mission is to maintain a permanent link among naval authorities of the Americas. U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command hosts the multi-national IANTN staff, which oversees IANTN detachments and operations centers in 18 partner nations in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
