A United States Marine Corps officer stands with hands clasped behind his back, facing a large formation of Marines in dress blues on a city street. The scene appears to be a military parade or ceremonial formation in an urban setting, identifiable as New York City based on the Rolex storefront and Ermenegildo Zegna building visible in the background. Multiple flags including the American flag and what appears to be the Swiss flag are displayed on the buildings.

A Marine from 6th Communications Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, paused his formation as they marched in the annual New York Veterans Day parade, here, Nov. 11. The parade is hosted by the United War Veterans Council, Inc. on behalf of the City of New York. It is the oldest and largest of its kind in the nation. Since November 11, 1919, the parade has provided an opportunity for Americans and International visitors to honor those who have served in the nation's largest city.
