Soldiers with 3rd Battalion, Royal Bruneian Landing Force scramble to move in buddy pairs while conducting immediate action drills in the new urban training facility here. Marines of 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment have been conducting military training in urban terrain with these Bruneian soldiers as part of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Brunei 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei and Timor Leste.
