JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. – Matt Younkin, Twin Beech 18 pilot, ascends into the air at the Air Power over Hampton Roads Air Show at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, May 6, 2023. When Younkin learned to fly at age 14, he wanted to become an airline pilot, but after his father’s death in a tragic airshow accident in 2005, he began fulfilling commitments made by his father, leading him to form a new passion and continue working in the stunt business.
