New York Guardsmen pose with their state partner, Brazil, during an awards ceremony on April 19, 2023, in Denver, Colorado, that named them 2022 State Partnership of the Year. The ceremony was part of an annual conference, held April 17-21, 2023, which brought together all 54 SPP directors, coordinators, and senior enlisted leaders to develop innovative solutions to pressing challenges. The State Partnership Program has been successfully building relations for 30 years and now includes 88 partnerships with 100 nations around the globe.
