A Green Beret with 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) conducts final equipment inspections as he prepares to freefall during a joint military freefall operation with Canadian special forces while participating in Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center rotation 23-2 in Alaska, Mar. 31, 2023. Alaska provides an optimal arctic environment for Operators and partner forces to train and implement tactics they can be ready to execute during future missions. Performing freefall operations allows special operations the unique ability to deliver personnel, equipment and supplies from a transport aircraft at a high altitude via freefall parachute insertion.
