The Puerto Rico National Guard celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new facilities in Fort Buchanan, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The facilities will consist of five buildings in a "Campus Style" with a total of 155,00 square feet necessary to support the National Guard Mission. Among the attendees at the ceremony were the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Maj. Gen. Antonio J. Vicens, Resident Commissioner in Washington, Hon. Pedro Pierluisi and Secretary of State, Kenneth McClintock. Here, Ltc. Col. Hector Rivera, chaplain, says the prayer during the groundbreaking ceremony of the new facilities.
