Air Force Trials participants carry the ceremonial torch during the opening ceremony at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Feb. 16, 2023. The Air Force trials are a Paralympic-style competition that features adaptive sports such as seated volleyball and wheelchair basketball. The trials also feature traditional Olympic-style Sports such as swimming, track and field, cycling, powerlifting, archery, air rifle, and air pistol; all of which use equipment adapted to the needs of the athlete.
