Cerezo, left, Surface Warfare Engineering School Command Great Lakes (SWESC GL) Boatswain’s Mate “A” School Leading Chief Petty Officer, serves soul food to Engineman 1st Class Stephen L. Danley, a SWESC GL instructor, alongside other members of the command’s diversity committee and Chief’s Mess during the command’s Black History Month presentation, featuring the Department of Defense annual theme “Inspiring Change.” The theme celebrates the contributions of African Americans to overcoming racial inequities and promoting opportunities for equal advancement within the Black community.
