SAN DIEGO – (Feb. 10, 2023) Capt. Matthew Cieslewkowski, commanding officer of USS Boxer (LHD 4) and a native of Norwich, Connecticut, addresses the crew on the mess decks during the celebration of the ship’s 28th birthday. USS Boxer (LHD 4) is the 6th ship to bear the name in two centuries and is a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship homeported in San Diego.
