NAGARKOT, NEPAL, Jan. 31, 2023 – U.S. Army Green Beret from 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Nepali Rangers evacuate a simulated casualty up a cliff wall during high angle rescue training. These skills are essential in the steep, mountainous terrain around Nepal. U.S Forces along with the Nepalese Rangers base this training on real-world experiences from natural disasters in Nepal’s past.
