NAGARKOT, NEPAL, Jan. 29, 2023 – U.S. Air Force Pararescue Airmen from 320th Special Tactics Squadron and Nepali Rangers train on high-angle rescue skills with Green Berets from 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) to rescue a simulated casualty in mountainous terrain. After the Gorkha Earthquake in 2015, the U.S Military and Nepali Rangers have a shared interest in maintaining proficiency in High-Angle Rescue in order to prepare for future emergencies.
High quality and realistic training are essential to maintaining readiness and demonstrating the United States’ commitment to our Nepali partners.
