A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, provides security during a raid rehearsal on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 4, 2023. The motorized infantry raid was the culminating event for MEU EX II, following Amphibious Squadron/Marine Expeditionary Unit EIntegration Training (PMINT). The amphibious raid integrated multiple elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force with live-fire events and showcased the MEU’s ability to conduct ship-to-shore maneuver and secure a beach landing site.
