U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Brian W. Cavanaugh, the commanding general of Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command, attends an Expeditionary Operation Training Group (EOTG) brief, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 1, 2023. Cavanaugh and respective leadership visited II Marine Expeditionary Force to tour subordinate commands, discuss capabilities, innovations and meet with Marines. The mission of EOTG is to train and evaluate deploying Marine Expeditionary Units, and other designated forces, in order to prepare those forces to support the geographic combatant commanders.
