U.S. Marine Corps Pvt. Hector SevillaOrnelas, a Marine that recently graduated boot camp from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, takes a photo at Recruiting Sub-Station Moreno Valley in Moreno Valley, California on Jan. 24, 2023. He entered the delayed entry program weighing 241 pounds and lost 52 pounds to become physically qualified to ship to boot camp as a supply administration and operations specialist. SevillaOrnelas faced many challenges while at boot camp, but every time he became anxious he would remember the advice that his recruiter, Gunnery Sgt.
