Entrance to Adit Six of Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) at Halawa, Hawaii, Dec. 9, 2022. The excavation and removal of aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) contaminated soil at Adit Six was completed on Dec. 7, 2022; sampling of the site was taken the same day. A double layer of tarps protect the site from rainwater while sampling is being conducted.
