SILVERDALE, Wash. (Nov. 21, 2022) –Trident Refit Facility, Bangor (TRFB) team member Gerald McKlosky, Code 613 Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI) division head, and TRFB's Commanding Officer, U.S. Navy Capt. Michael D. Eberlein look at packing glands during a gemba. Code 613 Quality Assurance Inspectors (QAI) personnel are responsible for conducting in-process critical inspections and testing of components within the Submarine Safety (SUBSAFE) boundary, as well as structural, mechanical and critical coating inspections.
