JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. – U.S. Navy Chief Equipment Operator Eric Battease, Amphibious Construction Battalion 2, directs a bulldozer safely from an U.S. Army vessel onto the back of a tractor trailer to be transported to the Fort Eustis Rail Yard at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 1, 2022. The move is part of the decommissioning of ACB 2, during which most of the battalion’s equipment is being shipped to ACB 1, a battalion based in San Diego, California.
