Sgt. 1st Class Nicholas Thornthwaite, a crew chief with the 1/10th Mountain Division's 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, conducts maintenance checks on the Unmanned Aircraft System, Shadow 200. The 1/10th Mtn. Div. has been using the Shadow 200 as a way to monitor the battlefield since their arrival to northeastern Iraq's Kirkuk province in October, 2007.
