SULU SEA (Oct. 17, 2022) Seaman Pa Lar from Lincoln, Nebraska, secures the easing out line in preparation for underway replenishment aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) during a replenishment-at-sea with Australian Supply-class auxiliary replenishment oiler HMAS Stalwart (A304) while operating in the Philippine Sea, Oct. 17. Sama Sama-Lumbas is a multilateral exercise and includes forces from Philippines, the United States, Australia, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom designed to promote regional security cooperation, maintain and strengthen maritime partnerships, and enhance maritime interoperability.
