SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, California (Oct. 12, 2022) “Eightballers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, conduct combat search-and-rescue (CSAR) training off the coast of San Clemente Island. During Helicopter Sea Combat Weapons School Pacific’s (HSCWSP) exercise PHOENIX RESCUE 23-1 squadrons from Helicopter Sea Combat Wing Pacific (HSCWP), Marine Air Group (MAG) 39 and 26th Weapons Squadron conducted maritime training aimed at improving CSAR capabilities.
