220928-DC740-N-1026 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 28, 2022) Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III discusses autonomous innovations at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific during a visit to the San Diego-based command. Naval Information Warfare Systems Command and NIWC Pacific personnel briefed the secretary on recent innovations, many of which highlight the Center’s constant collaboration with the warfighter. At the conclusion of the tour, Austin presented five Sailors with challenge coins in recognition of their hard work and accomplishments.
