U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Amy Klemm, UH-60M Crew Chief and Flight Instructor for Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, Assault Helicopter Battalion, attached to 36th Combat Aviation Brigade (standing), cleared the number one engine for her pilots, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Christopher Gallant and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Christopher Hansen, during UH-60M Black Hawk start-up at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Sept. 21, 2022. The clearing of engines during a start-up is vital to safety of the crew and personnel near the aircraft. Klemm and her crew surveyed landing zones at night in the vicinity of Camp Buehring during their flight. 3-142nd AHB, attached to 36th CAB, currently supports the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve across the Middle East.
