“Matador” Soldiers from the 741st Ordnance Company (EOD) speak with the Fort Bliss Police incident commander during a training event at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 14, 2022. As part of an installation readiness exercise, the Bliss Directorate of Emergency Services, Team Bliss Safety and other garrison support teams, and civilian power service provider Rio Grande Co-operative, worked with the Matatdors to locate and rehearse safely neutralizing an explosive device. Bliss and its partners regularly hold installation exercises to stay sharp when it comes to swift and effective emergency response.
