Warrant Officer Cody Smeltzer, of Charlie Company, 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Mountain Division cleans the rotor bifilar absorber on an HH-60m Black Hawk Helicopter as part of a 90-day corrosion inspection on August 16, 2022. The bifilar absorbers reduce vibration at the main rotor, effectively controlling vibration throughout the entire helicopter when in flight.
