U.S. Army Sgt. Brian Ozbirn with 90th Aviation Support Battalion, 11th Combat Aviation Brigade, designs a model on his laptop with computer-aided design (CAD) software during an advanced manufacturing seminar at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, June 29, 2022. 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division hosted the seminar to teach U.S. Army 91E allied trade specialists to efficiently and safely operate computer numerical control equipment, 3D printers and CAD software as part of the Department of Defense initiative to explore advanced manufacturing solutions that streamline sustainment of aircraft and other platforms while supporting missions across the globe.
