220723-N-IG750-1318 SINGAPORE (July 23, 2022) Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 1st Class James Griffin, from Charlotte, North Carolina, assigned to the Saberhawks of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77, currently deployed aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), sorts donated belongings during a community relations (COMREL) event at The Salvation Army in Singapore. COMREL events give Sailors the opportunity to foster goodwill by giving back to local communities while in port. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
