Cpt. Zack Brittingham, an artillery officer and commander of B Battery, 3-29 Field Artillery, 3 Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, briefs non-artillery soldiers on the capabilities and operation of an M109 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer during Eurosatory 2022, June 14 in Paris, France.
“Cross-training is key for the future of the Army,” said Brittingham. “As the Army moves into the future, creating different task forces or multi-domain cells, having teams that understand more than their MOS will make us more effective and lethal.”
Articulate subject matter experts are integral in effectively communicating U.S. battlefield capabilities, building trust with our NATO allies and furthering our efforts for interoperability – the ability of our Soldiers and systems to operate effectively in conjunction with those of our partner nations. The Army is dedicated to its modernization strategy, making units more lethal, to win our nation’s wars and return home safely.
Eurosatory is the largest international land security and defense trade show – the 2022 event boasted more than 1,800 exhibitors from more than 150 countries and admitted more than 57,000 attendees.
