Three members of the 133rd Contingency Response Flight watch a LC-130 Hercules from the 109th Airlift Wing takes off in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, May 14, 2022. The members are participating in a 17-day training exercise which they learned from elite members of the 109th Airlift Wing's Polar Camp Skiway Team and their Ski Landing Area Control Officers. Both teams trained on all aspects of Arctic operations, including the base camp build-up, Arctic first aid, snowmobile skyway grooming, heater set up, latrine construction, and work-rest cycles.
