220706-M-WC972-3515 MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, Hawaii (July 6, 2022) U.S. Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Air-Ground Task Force 7 and Marines assigned to the Mexican Naval Infantry complete pre-inspection before completing small boat training with the U.S. Marine Corps, Sri Lankan Navy Marines, the Indonesian Marine Corps, the Mexican Naval Infantry and the Australian Army on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, July 6, 2022, in support of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022. Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans.
