U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Jim Slife, commander of Air Force Special Operations Command, passes the
guidon to U.S. Air Force Col. Mark McGill, 352nd Special Operations Wing incoming commander, during
the 352 SOW change of command ceremony at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, June 24,
2022. McGill is responsible for more than 1,200 active-duty and civilian Airmen who perform missions
on the MC-130J Commando II and CV-22B Osprey aircraft and Special Tactics for U.S. Air Force Special
Operations Command in the United States European Command. The wing is the only Air Force special
