YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 16, 2022) – Damage Controlman 3rd Class Kevon Belle, from George Town, Guyana, a member of the damage control training team, directs members of the flying squad to the simulated fire casualty during a drill aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) June 16, 2022. The ship’s flying squad consists of the first responders for damage control casualties. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
