Maj. Gen. Greg Brady, Commanding General of the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, had the honor of speaking in front of American Soldiers, French citizens, and a first wave D-Day veteran at the Eglise Notre Dame in Hemevez, France on the 78th anniversary of the invasion, June 6, 2022.
The ceremony in Hemevez honored the service and sacrifice of twelve American paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne and the French villagers who helped some of those Soldiers survive after foul weather during the para drop separated them from their unit on D-Day.
