Seconds after takeoff from MCAS Yuma's flightline on Oct. 11, U.S. Marine Capt. Joshua Mallow steadies the KC-130J Hercules and prepares for AV-8B Harrier refueling ops. Mallow, attached to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing and native of Crawfordville, FL, is training in Yuma in support of Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron's biannual Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course. WTI provides advanced level aviation and Marine Air Ground Task Force training for U.S. and international military forces to enhance mission readiness while testing new air-ground warfighter capabilities.
