Heather Savageaux is presented with a bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation for her support of her husband, Cmdr. Michael K. Savageaux, prior to him being relieved by Cmdr. Michael P. Ward II as commanding officer, USS Pittsburgh (SSN 720). Savageaux will take charge as the director of training at Naval Submarine School in Groton. Ward commented that he has realized his dream and is extremely proud to take command of the Los Angeles class attack submarine.
