Army Sgt. 1st Class Robert A. Burd, a jumpmaster with the 82nd Airborne Division's 3rd Brigade Combat Team, rakes static lines during mock-door rehearsal training Oct. 8, 2012, at Pope Army Airfield, N.C., prior to an airborne operation. Burd was one of more than 30 3BCT jumpmasters tasked to support the 2nd Brigade Combat Team's operation. About 1,300 paratroopers from 2BCT jumped into Folk Polk, La., for a month-long Joint Readiness Training Exercise rotation.
