    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    Sergeant Laura L. Fulz, a radio supervisor for the Command Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and native of Corning, Iowa, plays with a student from the Hanniel Christian Academy and Orphanage during a visit here, Oct. 11. The visit was part of Amphibious Landing Exercise, a bilateral training exercise between U.S. and Philippine armed forces intended to increase interoperability and strengthen the bond between nations. PHIBLEX, now in its 29th iteration, is an annually-scheduled exercise between the U.S. and Philippine forces, aimed at strengthening military-to-military interoperability and bilateral relationships.
