Soldiers assigned with the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command reunite with their families following a redeployment ceremony at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, May 10, 2022. The 3rd ESC led the logistics and medical operations during the evacuation of over 122,000 Afghan nationals and the joint draw down of 7,000 troops during OPERATIONS ALLIES REFUGE (OAR). While deployed, the 3rd ESC acted as the 1st Theater Sustainment Command Operational Command Post where they provided mission command of over 12,000 Sustainment Service Members, DA Civilians, and contractors deployed to Kuwait, Qatar, Syria, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Sinai Peninsula, supporting more
than 60,000 military and civilian personnel.
