A Soldier assigned to the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command hugs his loved one following the completion of a redeployment ceremony at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, May 10, 2022. While deployed to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command acted as the 1st Theater Sustainment Command Operational Command Post where they provided mission command of over 12,000 Sustainment Service Members, DA Civilians, and contractors deployed to Kuwait, Qatar, Syria, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Sinai Peninsula, supporting more than 60,000 military and civilian personnel.
