Members of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) conducts a 12-mile ruck march that lasted until the following morning at Camp "Bull" Simons, Fla., during the Best Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) / Special Operations Team Alpha (SOT-A) Assessment, April 27, 2022. During this ruck teams move an HMMWV trailer to a designated drop off point 1,500m. The teams participating in the assessment demonstrated their readiness and re-enforced the fact that they are prepared to compete, deter, and win in any conflict; validating 7th SFG (A)’s role in the global environment.
