Brig. Gen. Lance G. Curtis, commanding general, 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, thanks Maj. Gen. Michel M. Russell Sr., commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, ahead of a transfer of authority ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 4, 2022. Curtis presented Russell with a token of appreciation for his leadership and mentorship while the 3rd ESC staffed the 1st TSC’s operational command post. During the ceremony, 3rd ESC transferred the mission to the Birmingham, Alabama, based 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command.
