Lt. Cate Giguere, Station Washington Commanding Officer, introduces her team to the students of LEARN DC at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington D.C. on April 27th 2022. Station Washington crew members gave tours of a 29’ Response Boat-Small and demonstrated water safety as part of the Coast Guard’s Partnership in Education program (PIE). PIE unites the Coast Guard family with local schools and communities through opportunities to work directly with students which enhances educational opportunities and raises awareness about the Service.
