Two military personnel in desert camouflage uniforms are operating a mortar system in an arid, desert training environment. One soldier is standing and holding the mortar tube while the other is kneeling and adjusting the base plate or bipod assembly. The setting appears to be a military training exercise based on the open desert terrain and clear conditions.
